Zero-G drop a dancefloor grenade with Electro House

September 30, 2009

bdfb68ecf748e03318f3350cbffbUK-based sample pioneers Zero-G have released a storming selection of the best electro house samples around taking its inspiration from the sounds currently igniting club floors across the globe..

Electro House lays on thick, surging, uptempo rhythms, hooky samples, and masterfully managed production. Shot through with that filthy analogue sound, sidereal synthloops, relentlessly hip-moving beats and thrusting basslines, FX, percussion and lots more besides. It really does the business for any dance producer!

There´s lots of heavy electro house here but the library also goes beyond the standard electro house genre to bring in elements of techno, breakbeat, minimal, tech house and nu-disco to really give your mixes something unique and special.

Deadmau5 downloadable sample pack now online!

August 7, 2009

deadmau5-pic1Deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman) is currently one of the hottest names in Electronic music, rocking crowds in his distinctive giant ‘Mau5′ head.

Last year, this Canadian export enjoyed the highest new entry in the Top 100 DJs list, storming in at number 11. His recent collaboration with Kaskade for ‘I Remember’ ensured heaps of airplay and remained in the UK Top 40 for two months.

Now you can inject some Deadmau5 flavour into your own tracks with XFER – a sample library for music producers featuring a plethora of WAV loops and one-shots.

An extensive amount of gear was used for the CD including circuit-bent and analogue drum machines, vintage analogue synths such as Moog and Arp, original acoustic drums and other sounds recorded in various professional studios. A variety of digital sound sources were used as well for creating new sounds, such as FFT synthesis, additive/subtractive synthesis, even custom DSP routines coded by Steve Duda in C++.

RRP: £59.95

Incidently, the name Deadmau5 apparently stems from an episode where a mouse crawled into Zimmerman’s computer…
